TRAINING PROFILE

Estimating /assessing minimum static charge (mj) accumulated on different objects used for solvent handling.

MIE (Minimum Ignition Energy) for varies solvents and dust, causing the fire & explosion.
Types of solvents and their characteristics.
How to recognize and classify different types of solvents.
Conductors and insulators.
Tribo-electric effects (Selection of MOC for project)
Different pairs of surfaces causing accumulation of static charge.
Laminar flow/Turbulence flow.
Types of electrostatic discharges.
Elimination/mitigation of static hazards.
Elimination through design.
Preventive actions to eliminate static charge
Three case studies (Through participants interactions)
Two incidences: learning through animated video clips.
More than 500 questions & answers. Every trainee is participating and interacting.
